This 13 week session starts September 6, and is open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. Galilee Baptist Church, 317 Main Street, Gorham/Office Building Conference Room Tuesday, September 6 and last session will be November 29 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm GriefShare is a non-denominational, biblical support group that focuses on helping people who are dealing with a loved one’s death. Each DVD session features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories, followed by small-group discussion about the topics presented (with workbook support). At each GriefShare session you will find encouragement and help in grieving the death of your loved one. No matter the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and how to cope with the normal emotions that come when grieving a death, and you’ll gain new hope for the future. This group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death. Please come join us at our first Potluck Dinner for Hope at First Evangelical Free Church at 355 Bridgton Road Westbrook, Maine Please bring a casserole, dessert, or salad to share. We will share a meal, learn from guest speakers, and have the opportunity to be involved with blessing human trafficking victims and their children this Christmas to remind them they are loved, cared for, and not forgotten. October 29 -Everyone is invited to the Fall Festival on Saturday October 29th. There will be free Carnival Games, lots of prizes, and fun for everyone!
