September 5 – The North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road, Pownal, Maine will be holding a public baked bean and spaghetti supper on Saturday, September 5th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. On the menu three kinds of beans, spaghetti with meat sauce, potato salad, coleslaw, biscuits & brown bread, pickled beets and assorted homemade pies. September 8 The Blackwood Brothers Quartet will be in concert at Grace Community Chapel 187 Lewiston Rd. in West Gardiner on September 8. The concert starts at 7:00 pm. October 4 - The 22nd Annual Lewiston-Auburn “LifeChain” will take place Sunday, October 4, from 2:30-3:30 across the Longley Bridge between those two cities.
