This 13 week session starts September 6, and is open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. Galilee Baptist Church, 317 Main Street, Gorham/Office Building Conference Room Tuesday, September 6 and last session will be November 29 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm GriefShare is a non-denominational, biblical support group that focuses on helping people who are dealing with a loved one’s death. Each DVD session features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories, followed by small-group discussion about the topics presented (with workbook support). At each GriefShare session you will find encouragement and help in grieving the death of your loved one. No matter the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and how to cope with the normal emotions that come when grieving a death, and you’ll gain new hope for the future. This group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death. October 3 – Pastor Ronald S. Baines went to be with his Lord on Sunday August 28th, 2016. Ron was one of the pastors of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Brunswick since 2004. There will be a memorial service on Monday October 3rd, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. It will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on 333 Main St., Brunswick, Me. All are welcome to attend. Oct. 6 MILLINOCKET – The 55th annual St.Martin’s Harvest Tea and Sale will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the lower hall of the church at 19 Colby St., Millinocket. This fund raising event includes a turkey salad luncheon, almost a dozen sales tables, awarding of raffle and door prizes and an opportunity to pre-holiday shop and to socialize.
