Pastors, lay leaders, church members…..encourage your leadership to attend the informational and empowering Hope Day 2022 Launch Conference on Saturday, Februrary 5th from 8:30AM to 12:30PM, either in person in Long Island, or via Zoom/Live Stream online. Email info@hopedaynetwork.org or visit their website online at hopedaynetwork.org
Hope Day is a compassionate community outreach event, held in multiple communities in each of several states, all on the same day. In 2022, Hope Day will be held on Saturday, June 4th. Hope Day connects and empowers churches to transform their communities through a one-day event that serves as a catalyst for future connections and discipleship throughout the year; uniting churches through relationships, training, coaching and collaboration.
Hope Day events in the past have served over 118,265 guests at 211 events, distributing free groceries and essential household items; and everything from free shoes to free haircuts, school backpacks to family portraits, community and job services. and more.
The Hope Day Network would like to see many new communities participating in 2022! There is currently an event in Warwick that will be in its 4th year. Each event reaches out to a limited radius, so you can participate with your church in almost any location! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we had churches decide to hold Hope Day events in three or four other areas of Rhode Island or Southeastern Massachusetts this June? How about Woonsocket or Smithfield? Johnston or West Warwick/Coventry? Pawtucket/Central Falls? You could even focus on a particular neighborhood in Providence/East Providence, or Seekonk or Swansea, Massachusetts! Anywhere there are people in need of a little help is a great possibility….and we know that EVERYBODY needs a little hope, and the love and healing found in Jesus!
