Jericho Walk – Rhode Island’s Annual March for Life is this Saturday in Providence!

Join the RI Right to Life Committee and Lydia Bartlett this Saturday morning, September 21 at 10 a.m. for the Jericho Walk, Rhode Island’s Annual March for Life.
We will gather for an opening prayer at the west end of the parking lot at St. Patrick Church, which is adjacent to the RI Right to Life Headquarters at 266 Smith Street. After a brief opening prayer, we will proceed east on Smith Street to the Rhode Island State House, encircling the perimeter three times in silent prayer (Gaspee Street and Francis Street), before proceeding back to RI Right to Life for a closing prayer.
The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 miles, and should take nearly one hour. Please note that faster walkers or runners are free to do seven or more laps, while slower walkers can opt for one lap.
Our prayer intention will be for the repentance and conversion of our elected representatives in Rhode Island and in Washington D.C., that they may turn away from evil and promote a culture of life by passing laws to protect innocent human life, from conception to natural death.
This Jericho Walk also serves as the Kickoff Rally for the 40 Days for Life Fall Campaign, which begins Wednesday, September 25, and continues through Sunday, November 3.
