John Schmid to perform at Littlefield Baptist Church in Rockland this month!

John Schmid will be performing at Littlefield Baptist Church, 1 Waldo Ave. in Rockland, ME on Tuesday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m. Admission is Free (provision for a love offering will be available) and all are welcome!

With a unique musical blend of gospel, country, folk and gospel, and a dash of the contemporary, John Schmid has gained an enthusiastic following across the nation.  His honest, genuine voice is easy to listen to and his message reaches everyone through humor, true life stories, a unmistakable love for people, through which he spreads the word of Christ.

As the founders and directors of Common Ground Ministries, John and his wife, Lydia, minister to people on their level, whether they are visiting a prison or in someone’s living room.

John has performed internationally, in over 35 countries, as well as in every corner of the U.S. He is the only performer ever invited to perform and record at the Johnny Cash Cabin, Johnny Cash’s personal recording studio, with Johnny Cash’s original band.

In addition to performing at Littlefield Baptist Church, John will also be performing and spreading the gospel through song at the Maine State Prison in Warren, ME.

The sponsoring churches are Littlefield Baptist Church in Rockland, ME and Spruce Head Community Church in Spruce Head, ME. Both are actively working on spreading the word throughout the Midcoast Maine community.
