The Military and Veterans History Group’s free presentation, “Four Days in Hell,” by Jack Brenner, will be given Wednesday, September 25th, at 2 p.m. at the Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main Street, East Haven, CT. Mr. Brenner will relate the story of his grandfather, Charles L. Sackett, in WWI. Sackett served at the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, the largest and deadliest battle in U.S. military history. The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
