The Foster Grandparent Program of RI is Recruiting Senior Volunteers!
January 6, 2020 - February 14, 2020
Do you enjoy helping children? Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child? The Foster Grandparent Program of Rhode Island is currently recruiting Senior Volunteers to serve in local schools and head start programs in Northern and southern Rhode Island.
Qualifications:
Have love to share with children
55 years of age or older
Be willing to serve a minimum of 15 hours per week
Receive no more than $24,980 in Social Security benefits
You will receive a Federal Tax-Free stipend for your hours of service plus travel per day (these funds do not count as income that would affect senior housing benefits)
