“The Lighting Of The Historic Grist Mill Pond” to benefit youth in Foster Care coming December 2nd in Seekonk!

Four Echoes Vintage Shoppe and The Old Grist Mill Tavern are organizing a wonderful community event this Christmas season. “The Lighting Of The Historic Grist Mill Pond” is an exciting event that will take place on the Grist Mill Pond on December 2nd from 5-8 PM. The event will celebrate the joy of the Christmas season by giving to youth in foster care. Fifty memorial “Giving Trees” will be sponsored, resulting in 50 youth receiving gifts at Christmas.
We are creating a beautiful scene around the Grist Mill pond. Both properties will be illuminated with Christmas lights, we will have a tree walk with 50 lit Christmas trees, several larger decorated trees, and seasonal decor throughout. We will have a Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 PM, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food and beverages from the Grist Mill, live entertainment, kid’s activities like face painting, cookie decorating, hot chocolate, and more.
